Who I am
I'm Zichao Zhou, an AI engineer.
I hold an M.A. in Psychology, have lived and worked abroad for 10+ years, and conduct business in Chinese, Japanese, and English.
My core strength isn't chasing the latest model or concept. It's taking an AI idea and building it — from zero — into a system that actually runs, ships, and stays stable in production over the long term.
What I'm building
I currently focus on two products of my own, while maintaining two commercial systems already live in production.
Two core products
GenAI Guardian — fully offline anti-fraud edge AI
A telecom-fraud detection system that runs fully offline. It analyzes the context of a phone call to identify, in real time, the psychological-manipulation structures fraudsters rely on — protecting elderly users. Voice and video data never leave the device: the design requires no network link at all, which removes the privacy concern at its root.
ClawLive — a digital-being commercial platform with personality
A digital-being commercial platform driven by a team of AI agents. Personality-rich digital beings run live commerce 24/7, across three business lines: live streaming, short video, and multi-platform distribution. What it delivers isn't a single avatar — it's the operating capability of an entire digital-being team.
Two systems already in production
- AI smart-lighting system for North American IoT — for a US-based IoT manufacturer; 200K+ requests per year. I owned the full lifecycle alone: architecture, operations, and billing.
- Unstructured-data extraction system — extracts structured information from payslips and tax forms; 20K+ requests per month, stable in production.
How I work
A dual lens: from psychology to engineering.
Why does someone get manipulated by a single phone call? How is trust built — and then exploited — in a decision? A psychology background trains me to reason from the structure of people, not just technology. That lens underpins both Guardian's reading of fraud scripts and ClawLive's design of digital personality.
Accountable all the way to "it actually ships."
A working prototype is only the starting line. What I care about is whether a system can keep delivering value in real production — under real request volume, real cost constraints, and the pressure of running for the long haul. The two live systems above are the proof of that.
